Chalet Kilauea
The Chalet Kilauea has some of the finest accommodations you could make, but it also has some of the cheapest accommodations as well. Their Volcano Bed and Breakfast is basic lodging and has two bathrooms and a kitchen common to the 6 rooms. If you like privacy, then this is certainly not for you. If your priorities lie more on a good cheap lodging in Hawaii, then this will suit you well. It is in Volcano Village, right beside the Volcanoes National Park. This makes it an easy walk to the park for seeing the most active volcano in the world. They also have houses in Country French style or Hawaiian Plantation style for the private, luxurious people.
Lotus Garden Cottages
The Lotus Garden cottages are among the better accommodations for the price. They run around $200 a night and have a private bath, LCD TV, remote gas fireplace, and 7 layer bedding for the most comfortable nights sleep. You will receive a fresh tropical breakfast delivered to your cottage every morning by the owner. It also has wireless high speed internet in case you want to email some pictures of your beautiful cottage and make your friends jealous.
