Blue Hawaiian, Paradise Helicopters, and Sunshine Helicopters all offer tours of Big Island in Hawaii and have offers at Hawaii Activities website. However, Blue Hawaiian and Sunshine Helicopters are both cheaper on their own website.
Blue Hawaiian
Blue Hawaiian is the top helicopter tour company in Hawaii and have been awarded the "Certificate of Excellence-Diamond Award" by FAA every year since 1998, and has been named "the Cadillac of helicopter tour companies" by Frommer's Guide to Hawaii every year since 1999. Their tours of Big Island range from a really cheap $169.20 to one of the most expensive and luxurious tours at $409.50. If you like a quieter and smoother ride, then you should ride in one of the Eco-star helicopters. Only some of their flights have the option of an Eco-star. If you are able to go, they offer the best accommodations and are also more efficient and are more environmentally friendly. Blue Hawaiian was the launch company for this helicopter and acted as the consultant, giving suggestions for features. They are still the only Hawaiian company that has Eco-stars.
Sunshine Helicopters
Another popular touring company is Sunshine Helicopters which is one of the best helicopter companies in the Hawaiian Islands. It is one of the only helicopter companies with a perfect safety record that has been in business for a good length of time. They are generally cheaper than Blue Hawaiian, but with the online discounts that are offered, Blue Hawaiian actually has the best deal. However, if you are more concerned with safety than money, this is where you will want to book your tour.
Paradise Helicopters
You can go to Paradise Helicopters for their prices but they do not offer as good of discounts as Sunshine or Blue Helicoptor. The one thing they have going for them is the fact that they offer the only three hour helicopter tour of Big Island. People that really enjoy helicopters will enjoy this tour. Other than that, this company doesn't stick out from the competition in any way. Check out one of the other ones and try to book through them before going to Paradise Helicopters.
